SHIPS COURSE

Ships course outlined in red going from Kodiak to Dutch Harbor.

Every day Mr Finnestad sent a transmission from ship updating students on the days events and a list of ship coordinates. This is the map students used to plot the ships course. The scrambled area of red looking like someone scribbling is where the ship was following the radar tracked buoy. According to the scientist the currents were very different from what was expected. The satellite tracked buoys we launched showed a similar pattern. The paths of the bouys indicated that there was not a strong current running through Shelikoff Strait.
