Glacier View, the seventh junior high in Puyallup, opened in September 2008 serving seventh, eighth and ninth grade students living in the southeastern part of the district. Glacier View is a 98,306 ft2 building that is located to the east of Emerald Ridge High School. The school is funded by a bond that was approved by voters in February 2004. We are the Glacier View "Avalanche". Our mascot is the Yeti. 7th & 8th Grade Course of Study Volunteer Application - coming soon! The Puyallup School District has an anti-discrimination policy (policy 3211) and a policy covering harassment, intimidation and bullying (Policy 3207). The policies were revised and adopted by our Board of Directors in August of 2003 as a means of providing the safest and most optimum learning environment for all students.
