Welcome to Emerald Ridge High School

Just a reminder - Frist semester report cards will come home with students on Friday, February 10. You will also be able to access those grades on our Home Access Center (HAC). Most parents already consistently use this tool but if you are unable access this please contact ER.

Class of 2002 Reunion Info

ERHS Class of 2002 – Ten Year Reunion
When: Saturday, July 28, 2012
Time: Noon to 4pm

The cost of attending the reunion will be $10 per person, or $20 for a family of 2 or more. You must register by June 30, 2012.

In Jagtime club and meeting news TODAY..


The Book Club will meet in the auditorium.


Interact/Key Club Members….If you would like to be a part of the Helping Handhouse Annual Family Awards Banquet see Mrs. McMullan in the CCC today for information!


Senior students interested in learning more about a recruitment college fair with Historical Black Colleges and Universities, there will be a meeting during JAG on Monday the 13th in the commons.

All ASL students! The ASL film "Legends of the Mountain Man" will be shown TOMORROW in Mrs. Mattson's classroom starting at 7pm.
This activity is for ERHS ASL students ONLY.
Admission is free and light snacks will be provided.
Signing only. No voicing please.
This is worth 10 DCL points.


Also, There will be an ASL Club meeting during JAG on Monday in Mattson's room E-227. You will be making ASL Valentine's Day cards.


The Winter Semi-Formal is Saturday,
from 8-11:00pm.
The theme is Masquerade.
You can also hear a special performance by ERHS’s own Cell Phone Parking Lot.
Tickets are 5 dollars with ASB.
7 Dollars without.
As a bonus, the concession stand in the gym will also be open to help feed your hunger.


Jag wrestlers head into the district tournament this weekend.
The girls tournament is being held right here at ER and the boys head over to Rogers for district action.
Two boys and 12 girls will see mat action in an attempt to qualify for the State championship/mat classic next weekend at the Tacoma Dome.


In girls post season basketball action,
The lady Jags compete tomorrow against Kentwood at 3:30 pm at The Showare Center, in Kent.
In upcoming Spring sports interest meetings:


Boys interested in Soccer,
your meeting is TOMORROW at 2:15 in the Library


Any boy or girl interested in track that missed the track meeting last Friday, See Mr. Osborne or Mr. Mirk for more information.


Remember, Spring sports start on Monday,
February 27th
Get your physicals, paperwork and fees paid before then.
The ERHS blood drive will be held on February 16th, Be sure to sign up in the commons today and next week during all lunches.


As Always, if you need ANY sort of community service hours, job shadow info or need to see a counselor, go to the CCC, ask some questions and you will get answers.


Jag TV news anchors from 1st semester, please check the studio doors for the 2nd semester anchoring assignments.
Any questions, concerns or you do not want to anchor, please let Mr. Osborne know.

Course of Study

The Course of Study for the 12-13 school year for grades 9-12 has just been released. It was updated this year and will be used for the next 3 years.
