Mission StatementSunrise Elementary School has a mission to provide students with a strong basic education that encourages them to discover and achieve their full potential. We strive to assist our students in gaining the knowledge and developing the processes, skills, attitudes and values that will enable them to direct their own lives effectively, responsively, cooperatively and sensitively through implementation of the following goals:
- Creating a positive and stimulating environment that will promote individual self-worth and a concern for other people
- Presenting learning as an exciting and challenging lifelong experience
- Helping children learn to be resourceful problem-solvers as individuals and through cooperative group work with peers and adults
- Making the school a focus for the community, and bringing together various resources to help each child reach his or her maximum potential
