We believe that all students can learn and that each student has value that will be acknowledged by staff, students, and parents. All students will learn skills to demonstrate academic competence, tolerance of differences, compassion, and belief in self worth.

Mt. View Elementary opened in the fall of 1962 and was remodeled in 1991. The campus consists of the main building housing 11 classrooms, office, library, and multipurpose room; a kindergarten building which also houses one of our 1st grade classes and 3 portable classrooms. The playground has two big toys and a play shed.
Mt. View has one administrator, 14 full-time classroom teachers, and a team of educational staff that includes music, physical education, library, nursing, special education, counseling, special education/remediation para-educators, classroom and playground assistances, office personnel, custodial services, transportation, and food service.
