Welcome to the Hawk life!

My name is Lisa Nolan and I am proud to serve as the new principal of Firgrove, Home of the Hawks! On behalf of the Firgrove staff, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to new and returning students. Together, we can make the 2011-2012 the best school-year ever!

Please note the following important dates and relevant information:
•Registration begins Aug. 23rd; daily between 9 am - 2 pm
•Aug.24th, 4-6 pm - Incoming First and Second Grade Testing for students whose last names begin with letters A-M; not a drop-off event - students must be accompanied with an adult during the duration of the testing
•Aug.25th - student postcards which include their teacher's name, classroom numbers and important upcoming events will be mailed
•Aug.25th, 4-6 pm - Incoming First and Second Grade Testing for students whose last names begin with letters N-Z; not a drop-off event - students must be accompanied with an adult during the duration of the testing
•Aug. 25th, 6-7 pm - AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress)Parent/Community Meeting in the gym
•Aug. 31st, 1-3 pm - Firgrove's Meet And Greet - Firgrove staff is ecstatic to meet this year's new and returning Hawks and their families. PTA is also excited to meet new and returning families.
•Sept. 1st - First Day of School: Firgrove is in session between 8:20-2:46 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and between 8:10-11:51 on Wednesdays.
